Our Wild Salmon Keta caviar/roe is becoming one of the most popular on the market.

Wild Salmon keta roe. One of the healthiest foods around. Full of Omega3, Vitamins and minerals.

It has it’s own following and many of our customers just can’t get enough of it. We sell out at the end of every week, and we ensure that the product that we send out is a fresh as can be. Often only being in the jar for several days. This goes for all our products. WE believe that our Caviar’s and roes should not be lying in a fridge waiting to be sold, but that it goes out as quick as we get it in.

This can at times lead to a waiting time of 1-2 days more, but it’s worth it. But if a customer needs a product urgently then we will do ur utmost to ensure that it arrives in time.

Delivery is normally 1-2 days and we send all our products out in small poly-boxes with ice-packs to ensure it’s chilled when you receive it.

All the above mean that our quality Salmon Keta is prized and treasured and has been a fairly well-kept secret. But we believe that such a healthy food should be shared and we are increasing our deliveries to keep up with demand.

So give it a go, 100,000 grizzly bears can’t be wrong. A spoonful a day is good for heart and soul. “Pure Brain-food”.

We are offering 10% off in September. https://www.caviarclassic-london.com/collections/special-offers/products/100g-salmon-keta-caviar

We are expanding our caviar selection again!

We are proud to have one of the largest caviar selections in UK/Europe.

We are constantly looking for new products to add to our ever expanding caviar selection.

When we started 6 years ago we had 3 types of caviar. Every year we like to add 1-2 new new products to show that we are growing with demands.

We have had many requests for a more economic caviar that can be used for large events or just to top off canape’s and fish-dishes. We have now added to “Classic” types of caviar. One is the Baerii and the other is an Oscietra. Much cheaper and perfect for large scale events or when your just looking for a more basic caviar. The price reflects this.

We will also be adding a “classic Beluga” In October. This will be about 30% cheaper than the Royal Beluga.  This will bring our selection of “Real” Sturgeon Caviar’s up to 12 types.

If your a Caviar lover like many of our customers and ourselves then you will find our website to be a pure treasure trove of pleasure.

Drop by our online store and if you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Sincerely

Darren & The Team.

Happy Birthday to us!

Well, it’s not quite a milestone. It’s actually only 6,5 years. But it feels like a lifetime.

But here we are, still going strong and growing every year. Why we are celebrating 6,5 years? Well, in December, where our birthday actually is, we don’t have time to celebrate properly. And it’s right on the tail of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. People are generally shopped out. So we decided to move it to the summer where we have more time to give some great deals to our loyal and (hopefully) new customers.

It’s especially thanks to our regular customers that we are still here. Without them we would not exist today. And I believe in ensuring that they get a first class treatment every time they get in touch. But also ensuring that every new customer is treated like a potential return customer.

So, back to our Birthday. We decided we wanted to make some offers that beat anything we have done before. and to make it colourful and fun. Well, it’s definitely all that. And with up to 40% of many of our most popular products, it’s not about profit but getting our name out there and showcasing the big selection of caviar that we can offer.

Special Offers.

So over next week it’s all about Caviar and cakes for us. Please visit our website, and if you should place an order, wish us a happy birthday when you check-out. 😉

Regards

Darren & the Team.

What is real caviar?

It seems that every single egg or row that comes from a fish is called Caviar.

But it’s the same as calling every kind of bubbly liquid in a bottle for Champagne. Champagne can only be from the Champagne region in France.  Real Caviar is from the Sturgeon family, also known as the Acipenseridae family. And preferably fresh , not pasteurised. Many other types of fish roe get pasteurised to give them a longer shelf-life. Fresh Caviar will normally have 3-4 month’s shelf-life, other types of roe will have up to 6 months.

Another way to distinguish a real caviar is the obligatory CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) number that should accompany every tin/jar of caviar. I dare say that nearly all legal caviar is farmed and that to ensure that all  production and sale of Caviar is both legal and genuine importers are required to ensure that a CITES import number is on every container.

Therefore when you buy caviar then check the shelf-life and that it has a CITES number on the bottom of the tin/jar.

We are maybe not the biggest caviar company in the UK. Nor are we the oldest. But we pride ourselves in having one of the biggest selections of real caviar in the UK and that “It does what it says on the tin”, so to speak. In this case, bigger isn’t always better, often it just means that it’s probably more expensive. We have 8 types of real caviar on offer, from Beaerii to Beluga, but we actually have 11 on offer thru the year.

We also pride ourselves in having many private customers, celebrities and business leaders who prefer to get a more personal service and a bigger selection from a small private owned Caviar company that sets quality and customer service as it’s priority, than from some of the bigger companies. That we also have some of the most reasonable prices on the market doesn’t hurt either.

Please visit our website and if you should have any questions, then please don’t hesitate to send us an email or give us a call. http://www.caviarclassic-london.com

A true caviar story: What is the liquid in caviar?

I started selling Caviar just over 6 years ago. Well to be honest. I was offered a job with a small caviar company that had just started in London. 1 year later I took over the company when they decided they wanted to close down. Going from knowing basically nothing about Caviar/Sturgeon to studying every evening to get as much knowledge as possible. I was always of the opinion that if your going to do something, then do it to your best abilities.

One of my first customers after taking over the business was an elderly gentleman who liked to a spoonful of caviar every day. Mister X had been buying from me for a few years and was a satisfied customer.

Now Mr X liked to buy big tins of caviar, and it would take him over a week to finish off a big tin of caviar, eating a spoonful or 2 every day. One day I get a call from Mr X who is not happy. He explains that he believes that someone is adding water to his tin of Caviar and would like to show me. As he lived about half an hour from our office I go and visit him the same afternoon.

Mr X takes out a tin of caviar from his fridge, takes off the lid and explains what his issue is, pointing his finger. In the middle of the tin of caviar is, as he says, a puddle of liquid.

He tells me that he has been pouring it out every now and then, and he is not impressed. I was quite surprised that he had been pouring this liquid on a regular basis and explain to him that this little so called puddle is actually pure omega3 oil. One of the most important ingredients found in caviar. I further explain that as he only eats a small amount of caviar every day, and taking nearly a week to eat a big tin that maybe he would be better off buying smaller tins? This would mean that the caviar was always fresh and he would enjoy it more. I furthermore explained that if he ever came across this little pool of omega3 again, then gently stir it back in to the caviar or eat it with a spoon. Omega3 is known as pure brain-food and is good for both heart and brain.

So please, if you ever come across this issue, don’t throw it away. Enjoy it!

Love your caviar. Not only does it taste amazing, it’s good for you.

From Baerii to Beluga. Our caviar selection is growing.

Lets be honest. We don’t like Caviar. WE LOVE IT !!. Maybe that’s why we have such a wide selection. But to get to these specific Caviar’s we kiss a lot of frogs. For every caviar you see below, we taste at least 4-5 others. and not that the others were bad. Just that these better;) . We want to be a market leader in the Caviar industry. We had to fight to get where we are, and we did it with product quality, fair pricing and exceptional customer service.

We don’t really care if your a Mr/Mrs/Miss./Lord/Lady..a Celebrity, a cleaner, a bus driver, a lolly-pop man/woman.. If you like caviar then WE LOVE YOU ;)). Therefore we have made sure to have a caviar for everyone. From Baerii to Beluga, lets’ find your favourite.

We also think that they are quite colorful. 😉

New exciting caviar. The Siberian Oscietra Hybrid Caviar.

We believe that we have a good/wide selection of Sturgeon Caviar. From the Classic Baerii to the Royal Beluga.

The Asetra/Oscietra Caviar, also known as the Russian Sturgeon has been one of the most popular Caviar’s on the market for many years. It is just as well known as the Beluga, but always about 1/3 of the price. This is changing as demand for the Asetra/Oscietra Caviar grows, so does the price.

So it is always a pleasure to introduce a cheaper alternative that lies very close to the Asetra/Oscietra. This is because this Caviar is part Oscietra. The Siberian Oscietra Hybrid Caviar. Smotth, creamy, half Baerii/Half Oscietra, but very close to the Oscietra in taste, appearance and size. That it is somewhat cheaper doesn’t hurt.

WE are running severla great offers on this lovely Caviar durinfg April/May.

So grab yourself a bargain and try this creamy alternative. Customers are loving it. We are sure you will too.

Special Offers.
